Chris was a very lucky hunter to draw a 2016 Arizona Rifle Elk tag! Chris booked his elk hunt with us & came to Arizona wanting to better his biggest bull elk. On the second day of his Arizona elk hunt, Chris had the chance to take a big bull we called “SiX”.
Early rifle elk hunts in Arizona are extremely difficult to draw & hard to book hunts for any outfitter or guide. In 2015, we were thankful to be a part of a couple early rifle elk hunts & blessed to take a couple BIG 380+ bulls on these hunts.
Here is some footage of those hunts which were featured on ORGhunt.com‘s #HuntForMore Video series.
Ryan Homewood is a Colorado resident who has taken many elk, including a 350″ Colorado bull. Ryan first hunted with us in 2013 & we searched hard for a 350+ bull, but we came up short. We talked it over with Ryan & both parties agreed on some other elk unit choices in order to help Ryan accomplish his GOAL of topping his biggest bull.
After a short 2 year wait, Ryan drew another late rifle elk hunt in Arizona. Ryan being an avid hunter, prepared himself by having the right gear, practicing, being in good physical shape & having a great mental attitude.
When he arrived in camp, we were ready to take another shot at a big Arizona late season bull elk. On the second day of Ryan’s late elk hunt, we were blessed to find a big bull so we waited on him all day. When he finally came out of the cover late that afternoon, he was with a new friend and he was an even BIGGER bull. We rushed to the top of the next ridge, before Ryan laid down to take his DREAM Bull, it was an awesome experience for all of us.
