Ryan Homewood is a Colorado resident who has taken many elk, including a 350″ Colorado bull.  Ryan first hunted with us in 2013 & we searched hard for a 350+ bull, but we came up short.  We talked it over with Ryan & both parties agreed on some other elk unit choices in order to help Ryan accomplish his GOAL of topping his biggest bull.

After a short 2 year wait, Ryan drew another late rifle elk hunt in Arizona. Ryan being an avid hunter, prepared himself by having the right gear, practicing, being in good physical shape & having a great mental attitude.

When he arrived in camp, we were ready to take another shot at a big Arizona late season bull elk.  On the second day of Ryan’s late elk hunt, we were blessed to find a big bull so we waited on him all day. When he finally came out of the cover late that afternoon, he was with a new friend and he was an even BIGGER bull. We rushed to the top of the next ridge, before Ryan laid down to take his DREAM Bull, it was an awesome experience for all of us.

Ryan’s hunt was featured on Episode 12 of ORGhunt.com’s #HuntForMore series.

In 2015, Joel Ziegler drew a rare early rifle elk tag in Arizona.  After some phone conversations with Joel, he gave us the privilege of assisting him on his quest to find & take a trophy bull.

It was an awesome morning for everyone involved. We were truly blessed with the privilege of guiding Joel on such a rare trophy elk hunt.

We found this bull a few times and decided to call him Brahma. Any guesses on what he scored?

2015 Arizona Late Elk Season Re-Cap

Ryan took giant 390" Arizona Elk on a Late Rifle Elk hunt with us in 2015.

This is just a re-cap of our 2015 Arizona Late Elk season and we will have more to come.

Arizona Late Elk seasons are typically tough long hunts, which hold very few opportunities at bulls over 300 inches, let alone bulls of 350+ inches. This year our late elk hunters were very successful as a group and we were able to take 2 bulls over 370+ inches with a rifle and 1 bull near 350 inches with a muzzle-loader. Multiple opportunities on solid bulls, including a few 300-330 bulls which made it home with our late elk hunters.
